In June 2023 we published the results of the Ghana Earnings and Savings Survey (GESS 1) which indicated that over 55% of respondents earned less than GH¢5,000 from all their income generating activities combined. The survey also revealed that 52% of people had GH¢10,000 or less in savings.

We are happy to announce that we have brought back the survey for 2024. The questions have only been lightly tweaked because we prioritized comparability of results above everything else. Kindly take the survey below and share as widely as possible. Thank you!
