The website of the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has been suspended. Many people who tried to access www.statsghana.gov.gh were surprised to find “ACCOUNT SUSPENDED” boldly inscribed on the website.

This embarrassing event has frustrated several people who rely on the statistics from the GSS for business and academic research and analysis.

No official explanation have been provided for the suspension of the website. It is hoped that the web administrators of the page will quickly get their house in order and get the website back on.
